Jai Jinendra Polymers ("JJP", "we", "our", or "us") operates the JJP Polymer Platform — a real-time polymer raw material price distribution service including a mobile application (Android and iOS), web platform, and WhatsApp notification service.
The technology platform is built and maintained by Shurt Tech Private Limited on behalf of Jai Jinendra Polymers. This Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our platform.

2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
Registration & Identity
- • Full name and business designation
- • Company name, GST number, and business address
- • Mobile number (used for OTP authentication and WhatsApp alerts)
- • Email address
- • Business registration documents submitted during KYC verification
Device & Technical Data
- • Device type, OS version, and app version
- • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token (for push notifications)
- • IP address and approximate location (city-level, for freight calculation)
- • App usage logs (screens visited, features used)
Transaction Data
- • Enquiry details (product, quantity, delivery location, date)
- • Quotation history
- • Communication history with JJP sales team
Web Analytics (with consent)
- • Google Analytics 4 data (pages visited, session duration, referral source)
- • This is collected only with your explicit cookie consent
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Authentication: Your mobile number is used for OTP-based login. We do not store passwords.
- Price Notifications: Your FCM token and WhatsApp number are used to send real-time polymer price alerts.
- Enquiry Processing: Your contact details and enquiry data are used by the JJP sales team to respond to your requests.
- KYC Verification: Business documents are reviewed during onboarding to verify your eligibility as a B2B buyer.
- Freight Calculation: Your delivery location is used to compute freight costs in quotations.
- Platform Improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage data is used to improve the platform experience.
- Legal Compliance: We may retain transaction records as required by Indian tax and commercial law.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for non-commercial purposes, or sell it to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the JJP Platform:
All third-party services are selected for their data protection commitments. We enter into Data Processing Agreements where applicable.
5. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained for the duration of your active account, plus 3 years after closure (for tax and legal compliance).
- Enquiry and transaction data: Retained for 7 years as required by Indian GST and accounting regulations.
- KYC documents: Retained for 5 years from the date of submission.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted.
- Push notification tokens: Deleted immediately upon account deactivation or app uninstall signal.
6. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act 2023
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the following rights as a Data Principal:
- Right to Access: You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or outdated personal data.
- Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Right to Grievance Redressal: You may lodge a complaint with our Data Protection Officer at legal@jjppolymers.com.
- Right to Nominate: You may nominate an individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw consent for non-essential data processing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

- • Role-based access controls — only authorized JJP personnel access personal data
- • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- • OTP-based authentication — no passwords stored
- • Firebase security rules limiting data access to authenticated users only
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in high risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
The JJP Platform is a B2B service intended exclusively for registered business entities. It is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will delete their account and associated data immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified to registered users via the JJP app or email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
